Every dressage test, from training level to the Grand Prix starts with the horse and rider entering the ring at the letter A. Whether you are riding in a show at your local club or in the Olympics you enter at the letter A. So when I saw that this week’s Lens-Artists Challenge #126 from Patti is the letter A I felt like I was on familiar ground.
Enter at A

Enter at letter A and then Halt and salute at X The rider is ….. ALONE in the center of the arena.

The Coach watches their student…..ALONE.

ASSISTANTS are needed before the rider goes into the ring.

Leaving the dressage tests now we go to the jumpers who are AIRBORNE

Back in the day horses wore ARMOUR

Thank you to the Lens-Artists who give us these challenges each week. This challenge sent me to my photo ARCHIVES which is always a pleasant journey to the past.
This post also fits in with Nancy Merrill’s photo a week “working with animals”
I’d love to hear from you!
