My lessons are only 25 minutes at the moment and Belinda or Lynsey will warm him up for me and get him “switched on”! But I am working on getting my stamina back so I can get back to the full 45 minutes . But there is some real value to these short lessons. I am focusing on things in my position that need improving. First of all I am focusing on my leg position. My legs tend to drift too far forward and then they are not in the optimal place for giving leg aids. So I am working hard on getting them back to the right place. I am also very glad that my injured hip seems to be taking that adjustment without complaints.
Here is a short video of some trot work we did in the lesson .
After the trot work we went on to some canter. Here is a short video of some of the canter work.
While I was unable to ride my coach Belinda Trussell and her assistant trainer Lynsey Rowan were riding Biasini and they tuned him up beautifully. It is much easier for me to keep him in the right frame and therefore I am able to keep my focus on my leg position! Besides all that it is great to be back! My thanks to Linda for taking these videos while Belinda was teaching.

I’d love to hear from you!
