This week the Lens Artists Challenge is Creativity in the Time of Covid given to us by Tina at Travels and Trifles. One area of creativity that I have found during this pandemic is improving my photography and taking photos of things I do not normally take photos of.
I did an online course with Ben Willimore using the editing program Adobe Lightroom. I learned a few interesting techniques that I could use when editing some of my photos of horses .

I also started to take some photos of flowers. This was new to me and I was inspired by Cee Nuener and her Flower of the Day challenges and also some of the photography tips Cee put into her posts.

So that is the height of my creativity during Covid. Thanks Tina for this challenge .
Just to finish here is my favorite “creativity quote”.
I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.

Hello, have a look at my blog on a creative project with the National Trust, any feedback would be wonderful, thank you all!

you should keep going with the flower photography – because the world needs more of these and because you have a nice eye for these beauties –
and nice creative post for this theme ๐

my pleasure – and I have been sort of on a blog break this summer – and this last week have been doing project stuff – so when I came to blog world tonight – your post was one of the handful of posts that welcomed me – and ahhhhh – flowers, horses, nature, and some blogger words – – i had to leave a note!!

Beautiful flower gallery, Anne. I love the BnW images through Lr. The results are remarkable.

Thanks Amy. Both photos are color. I did not choose black and white
.the results are due to my lowering the colors such as the green in the mirror reflections of the windows and bringing up the highlights or shadows. Its fun!

My wife and I walk around a lake at a non-denominational Christian camp. Because of the reduced numbers of howling young people, nature has made a comeback and we have taken to at least commenting on fauna that we haven’t seen before. Most have been birds, cedar waxwings, kingfishers, and what I think is an osprey. I think I may take up photography. Thanks.

The osprey are wonderful and very majestic .Do take up photography. It is fun and much easier now in the era of digital . The old days of film were quite different.

Excellent, Anne! I have taken one online course too, and enjoyed it very much. Well done! Cee is an inspiration and likeTina said – the queen of flowers. I too love that quote of course – there is so much truth in it.

Thank you for this comment Subbashini. Have a good weekend. Perhaps you do not take a Saturday and Sunday Weekend. When my son was working in Bahrain he said they took a different day.

Excellent! Some fine shots. I especially like the one with the rider in deep shadow, very striking.

I like that one too Robert! There is a shaft of light that comes into the arena from above that can create some interesting effects. I took out the color with techniques I learned in the Ben Willimore course and went with deepening the black and bringing up the highlights. Fun!

Good for you on the course Anne. I have promised myself a hundred timeโs that Iโll take some online courses but so far, nada! Sigh. Loved your B$W interpretations, very striking. And Cee is the queen of flowers so thatโs a great way to expand your flower talents. Appreciate your joining us this week
