I have a debt of gratitude to pay for all the help I received at the show last weekend. So let me start…
BIASINI I thank my horse for working so hard and listening so well. He has been working with me for several months to get ready for this show and our freestyle. In the ring he followed my lead. That has been a bit of a struggle for us in the past but finally I have learned how to be the leader he needs.
BELINDA TRUSSELL I thank my coach Belinda for all the work she put into pushing us to achieve the balance, the gaits, the cadence, the being ‘present’ and being quick enough. She never flagged even when I was having one of my slower than molasses on a cold morning days.
DAVID I thank my husband for his support even at the times when I was short and sharp with the pressure of preparing for the show. And for his tireless assistance at the show. I would not have done so well ,nor enjoyed it so much, without him.
ASSISTANTS I thank Sue McTavish for getting to the show stabling early and giving Biasini his breakfast, taking him for a walk and cleaning out his stall. Also filling in, on short notice, for the Saturday night check. Carl Callahan for doing the night check on the first night we were there. Alexis Bradbury for being an excellent person to share a tack stall with, and for moral support .
FRIENDS I thank my friend of long standing Roz Pritchard who came out both days to watch my ride. Lynsey Rowan for her smile and thumbs up. Nicole Ashley for organizing champagne and nibblies once we had made our debut rides; the Prix St. George for Nicole, and the Intermediare 1 Freestyle for me. Nicole’s Mum, Mary Folland, was also an important part of organizing and preparing the festivities.

A support team is essential to success in showing horses. Thank you, to you all, for your help and support.
I’d love to hear from you!
