My Word with P is Piaffe. The piaffe is a movement from the Grand Prix and the and Grand Prix Special. These are the most advanced dressage tests and the ones that riders compete in at the Olympics. The piaffe is an extremely collected trot . The horse does not move foward and trots on the spot. Judges will want to see that the horse does not move forward and still displays lots of movement of both legs.
