FOTD: A nice rain gave us WWE.

Today we have had rain on and off since the morning. So it has been a water, water, everywhere, kind of day. Just a nice light rain but much needed as it has been very dry with a lot of wind. I am still more or less at home moving slowly with Willie Walker. I looked out at the back garden and decided that the drops of rain glistening on the plants in the back garden deserved some photos.

A large variegated hosta .
Variegated hostas and purple sedum.
Day lilies,a purple sedum and astilbe.

I am submitting these photos for Cee’s Flower of the day and also for Jez’ Water Water Everywhere. Tomorrow I am going to the barn to watch my coach Belinda Trussell ride Biasini . I will take my camera!

We really needed some rain and the forecast is for us to go back to dry weather again. Worrying due to the heightened fire risk.

That is a concern, yes. Our summer has been a bit milder than normal, but more rain reduces threats of dangerous fires. I hope this month brings some strong monsoon storms.
