On January 17, 2005, in the North of Germany, four little hooves hit the ground. This little fellow grew up to be branded into the Hanoverian Verband. His breeder Inga Bulle knew she had a nice colt and she gave him the name Biasini. His father was Belissimo M and his mother Diva ( she had a famous Grandfather called Donnerhall). When he was four years old Canadian Belinda Trussell bought him at the Verband auction and he came to Canada. In 2014 I asked Belinda for help in finding a horse. Luckily for me she was selling Biasini at that time. I rode him and loved him. That was the start of my journey with this wonderful horse.

We started our competition life together showing 4th level in Florida. Our second year together we moved up to the Prix St. George. Then we took on the Intermediare 1, and in 2020, an Intermediare 1 Freestyle!

Biasini taught me a lot and to be honest if he had been an easier horse to ride I would not have learned so much. He always tries hard and now that we know each other well he is working harder than ever to get it right. I cannot ask for more. Biasini is such a gift at this stage in my life.

I came to understand that if something made him nervous it was best to let him see it and examine it and not try to just kick on and tell him to get over it. The best thing is that Biasini always says: “WE need to get away from this.” He never says:” I’m outta here and I need to get rid of your extra weight.” As many of you know Biasini often “speaks” on the blog or the blob as he calls it. If you know Biasini you will know he has a very clear voice and I just take down what he is saying.

Biasini said that since Humans get a driving license at the age of 16 and why should he not have one. I gave him a sharp look and told him there were no cars made that were suitable for horses. He accepted that. He may not get a cake for his Birthday but he will get lots of extra carrots.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIASINI !
