“Let us then be up and doing,

With a heart for any fate,

Still achieving, Still pursuing,

Learn to labor,

And to wait.”

The words of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the ‘first thing in the morning’ enthusiasm of our little mini-Schnauzer June seemed to be the ideal response to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge “Morning” given to us by Ann-Christine.
Beautiful pictures of June! She looks so happy.

I am never this energetic, well ever really, but particularly in the morning…takes another sip of coffee.

I’m not that energetic either! But this is a young pup so age has something to do with it I think ๐

Yes. No issues with June loosing fitness during the lockdown! In our own defense my husband and I are doing the Eldergym online classes every day. June tries to help us with that too! Thanks for commenting John!

A lovely day for June! And brilliant photos of her playing (and waiting). Such a good and fitting quote too, never heard it before. I often wish I had only a tiny bit of all that energy my dogs have too…Well done.

She loves her ball.chasing in our back garden every morning even today when it was below freezing and there was about 2cm of snow! It was a new challenge for me to photograph a little dog going at speed. I’m used to horses and their movement is slower.๐

Thank you Diana. This morning the temp was below freezing and we had almost an inch of SNOW! So my husband put on her winter coat and she still went running after any balls he threw for her!
