This week Cees Fun Foto challenge was to pick a tool any type of tool.Ihave chosen the humble hoof pick. Here it is.
The sharp pointed end is used to pick out dirt/ manure etc from the horses hoof.This is important to do because if it is not done the hoof can become infected.Below I will give you before and after photos. Biasini is a the vet’s clinic and they bed the horses on straw. As you can see his hoof is packed with straw and manure.
The shoe Biasini is wearing is a therapeutic shoe made by his farrier to stabilize and give more support to his injured leg;
