Cautious optimism is a very Canadian trait, We often often do not have the courageous optimism that our neighbouts to the South of us have., This week the vet did an ultrasound of Biasin’s injury . He called to tell me that it was not looking as bad as it had at first and healing was taking place. But he added that we still had a ways to go
.
He told me that if Biasini had a third injury we would be in trouble. I knew he was right and if that did happen Biasini would have to be retired. When I said that he agreed with me.
So the good new is that the injury he has is healing and he has a good two months before he ships to Florida and Florida would be a good place .in the warmer weather, to rehab from that injury.Biasini will stay at the vet’s stable for another month and will get injections of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) in the site of the injury and also shock wave treatments, He can get all of that at the vet’s clinic. So…. I am cautiously optimistic .
I gave Biasini a good brushing when we went to see him a couple of days ago. He also got some carrots and here you can see he is licking his lips after eating one that my husband gave him.
