Motion!

This week Patti gave us the challenge of Motion for the Lens Artists Photo Challenge #212.

This is Penelope . She belongs to the barn manager and his children ride her. This photo was taken for the EPNet photography course. Penelope could be encouraged to gallop around in the paddock and not hurt herself. For this photo I panned with Penelope to blur the BG.
A friends little dog leapt up and over easily to get the ball that had been thrown for him.
People on the move!
Belinda Trussell riding Touch Me Marso in extended canter. I was shooting to have clear photos so no panning or slower shutter speed but I think there is plenty of motion in this photo.

Thank you Patti for this challenge. I don’t do much action photography as I usually need sharp clear horse photos . But it was fun to look through the archives and see what I could find. Do take a look at Patti’s Motion post. You can see other bloggers responses in the comments and pingbacks.

    I’m so glad you joined us, Anne. I was thinking about you. Your action shots work very well for the challenge. I love the horse in the first image. Even its tail is moving! And that little dog taking the leap….Great collection.
