This week Aletta has given us the challenge of “Treasures”.Here are mine: First of all my son and daughter. Both photos were taken at my daughter’s wedding in 2018.

My next treasure is my health . I am a survivor of colorectal cancer and also of systemic scleroderma. This historic photo below, was hanging on the wall of the corridor outside my hospital room. I had been admitted after an emergency with an intestinal blockage. Having had an extensive surgery for the cancer a blockage is something that can happen due to adhesions of scar tissue. The blockage passed on its own and I did not need surgery. Every time I see this photo I am reminded what a treasure good health is.

Finally my horse, Biasini, is a great treasure in my life. He takes care of me and cheers me up every time I ride him. Having a horse is a treasure indeed!

Biasini can take me to places I might not go on foot.

Thank you Aletta for this challenge to see her treasures click here.
Wonderful post, Anne ๐ I always enjoy the views between Biasini’s ears, he is indeed a wonderful treasure ๐

Yes he is. I am really missing not being able to ride with this hip injury.

Daytime it is going well . Night is harder as it is tricky to get a comfortable position. But I am optimistic!๐
