Lens artists challenge :Bokeh

This week the LAPC is Bokeh. What is that ? Well basically it is a photo with the background blurred . Why would you want that? Well this week several bloggers have responded with fabulous photos and the subject of the photos are clear and sharp with no distractions from the background. Sophia has given us this challenge. Click here to see her Bokeh photos.

Here are my responses.

My horse Biasini.
Grackle at the feeder.
Frozen Mountain Ash berries thawing out.
Red bellied woodpecker getting something to eat.

Thank you Sofia for this challenge. In photographing horses I do not get much bokeh but I think it is a wonderful effect and enjoyed finding it in some of my non horsey photos.

These are terrific examples Anne. Of course I love Biasini but those frozen berries are simply magical!

Those frozen berries were outside the kitchen window and it was a serendipity to be able to pop outside and capture them.

I love your explanation of the challenge, but the color story running through the images you’ve selected is my favorite part.

These are perfect, Anne. I realized when I read your post that the little red marks that WP underlined my word with were not because it didn’t know the word, but because I didn’t. Thanks for spelling it correctly, LOL! Hope you are doing well.
