Flowers Of The Day

These orchids are just growing from the crook of a tree at the side of the barn. Someone must have placed an orchid there. These are phalaenopsis and clearly they love the Florida life! I thought they deserved to be my response to Cee’s Flower of the Day Challenge.

They are very beautiful. You had me confused there for a moment I thought you were still in Canada (I am confused enough with humming birds in Canada)!

I think this one is not a rare orchid and there are two such plants growing in trees at the barn. I think they like the climate here.

I have assumed that someone put the orchid there knowing that these orchids like growing in the tree crooks. They get all the moisture they need in the Florida climate and the temperatures suit them perfectly. Thanks for commenting JWS.

Yes! That is it exactly. There was a light breeze blowing when I took the photos and they were indeed dancing!
