These lovely flowers are blooming in a tree that is growing just at the front of the place we are staying in Florida. I think they are very pretty. But I have no idea what this tree is. If you are familiar with Florida trees, and know it, please let me know in the comments below. Stop Press! I google searched the photo and found it . I have left a comment below.

This is my response to Cee’s Flower of the Day challenge.

I Google searched the photos and it told me that this tree is a Tabebuia rosea. Also called pink poui and rosy trumpet tree. It is a neotropical tree that grows up to 30 meters. Spanish name is roble de sabana or Savannah oak.

It’s beautiful whatever it is. Do the flowers belong to the tree, Anne, or is it a climber growing through the tree?

The flowers are the blooms of the tree.

These are beautiful! I am seeing something similar (here in tropical Asia) but also donβt know what they are.
The pink color reminds me of cherry blossoms which is a symbol of spring.

Yes it reminds me of spring as well. I have looked up a few flowering trees but still have not definitely identified this one. Thanks for commenting.
