Let me tell you Dear Humans I have been doing lots of work while Ma Leueen has time off. I think many of you know Ma Leueen had some bit of not good stuff cut out of the side of her nose and the person who did the cutting, you Humans call them surjuns, told Ma Leueen she was not to ride for a few days.
I thought that meant I would get some time off but NO. Coach Belinda has been riding me. And you know what that means! I have to try to do everything just right! She starts me with a nice low trot. That’s the part I like.
Then she asks me to pick myself up and canter.
The next day Ma Leueen groomed me and then Super Groom Lexi put on a small saddle pad and a thing round my belly. Ah! I knew what was happening now. She was going to work me with those really long lines. When we started I thought I that with all those lines I could just have SG Lexi carry head .
That was fun. Later SG Lexi asked me to do some of that trotting on the spot stuff….the pee-aff. I did some at first but the second time she asked I said “I’m tired, that’s enough.” So she gave me pat and we were finished. Whew…..I was tired. But I had enjoyed it.
Once Ma Leueen and SG Lexi got all the lines and stuff off me my fly sheet was put on and Ma Leueen took me out to my paddock. Then I had a really good roll, in the soft dirt, back and forth a few times. Yes! That felt so good.
So now you know how I have been working while waiting for Ma Leueen to get back on me. Till next time Dear Humans.
