This week Patti has given us the challenge of large to small and also asked us to choose a color for our large and small subjects. I am choosing the color brown and I will be including various shades of brown. For my Large I have chosen some photos from a Draft horse competition in August 2019. I have purposely chosen photos with people close to the horses to show how large they really are.
LARGE

MEDIUM
My medium photos are of my horse Biasini. He is 16 1′ HH. A good size but not big. I have also included a photo of me in a clinic with 5* judge Janet Foy in Florida January 2020.

SMALL
My small image is of the pony Penelope with Brittany Callahan. Penelope is brown and white.

SMALLEST
These two minis were the mascots for the Brooke Horse charity at the World Equestrian Games 2018. This photo was taken at a Press Conference, at the Winter Equestrian Festival, Wellington Florida ,January, 2018.

Thank you for this challenge Patti. To see her original post and find links to some of the other responses click here.

Oh my goodness Anne, I wouldn’t have imagined you could do the entire size challenge using horses but you certainly did! A wonderful response, I loved every image. I found myself wondering how you would get smaller with each image I saw. Kudos!!

I’m glad you liked the photos. Good observation on the step ladders needed to groom and braid the big boys.

I so enjoyed this post – had a big smile on my face throughout. That’s a beautiful photo of you and Biasini, Anne . . . and those Draft horses, wow! As for the miniature ones, I don’t know who is the cutest – the ponies or the little girl! 😀

Thank you Patti. It was an interesting challenge that got me looking through my archives. I think the differenxe in size of the hooves from the huge plate sized hooves of the draft horses to tiny little ballerina feet of the minis is astonishing. Thanks for this challenge Patti.

Yes, astonishing! I agree. I remember getting up close to the team of Budweiser clydesdales once and I was astonished at their size. Same is true for percherons.
