Hello dear Humans! I hope you are all well. Ma Leueen tells me the Vye Rus is still around and so in the barn the humans are wearing things on their faces called masks. We horses do not have to wear them. Anyway I’ve been having some very good times out on the forest trails. Twice Ma Leueen and I went out with Super Groom Lexi and Touchie. He’s a brave fellow and he didn’t even mind crossing the bridge that has the big tube, underneath it, with the water running through it. He gave it a bit of a snort and then just walked on. I was happy to follow. With Touchie and SG Lexi we went for really long trail rides. We saw lots of humans. Some had their offspring in little carriages with wheels. The little ones are always happy to see us. They seem to like horses. Their parents hold them back in case they run out too close to us. But Touchie and me, we know about little humans and we would be so careful if they did come close to us. One time we also saw a large group of older humans and they all had sticks in their hands. That made me a bit nervous but they stepped right back off the trail and smiled and said hello. Ma Leueen told me that their sticks were for walking and not to worry about them.
This past end of week Ma Leueen and I went out on our own. We went on my favorite trail. Yes! I think you may know which one that is. The goat trail!

You can see in the photo I still have my fly bonnet on but there were no flies. Not one! I think that now the flies are gone because we have colder nights. I am very happy when there are no flies. We also went on to what Ma Leueen calls the Blue Trail. That is a bigger trail and we saw a group of people who were quite nervous about me. They backed up and stood and watched while we walked by. Two of the humans had their mouths open as if they were shocked to see me. Seriously! Maybe they live in the city and have never seen a live horse before. I think they should get out more!
I asked Ma Leueen to take some video of the Goat Trail. I thought you would like to see it. And there is something interesting to see in this video. You can see on one side of the trail a very big old tree stump. And growing from right inside that old stump is a new tree. That old stump must be from a tree that died a long, long, time ago but now another tree is growing up in the same spot. Take a look and see if you see it.
That is all from me Dear Humans. I have a very special blob post coming up in a few weeks. But I can’t tell you about it now. For now stay away from that Vye Rus!
I’d love to hear from you!
