This week Cee’s Photo Challenges is the guest host on the Lens Artists Photo Challenge of the week. And Cee has given a wonderful challenge to all who want to participate. Her challenge: One Single Flower
When I saw the amazing responses to the challenge I thought:
“Well I don’t have any flower photos that could be suitable for this challenge.” The other responses from the Lens Artists were so beautiful. So I thought I would pass for this week. But then….this morning my husband said to me: “Have you seen the Iris in the garden? You should take some photos they are beautiful.”
Camera in hand I went out to take a look. He was right they were beautiful.

I thought that I would also include a peony as it looked so pretty.

Thank you Cee for this challenge. It made me step out of my photography comfort zone and these lovely flowers deserve to be captured!

Lucky we are that your husband saw the irises! Beautiful choices so well photographed. I also know that this is the favourite flower for our host this week.

Thank you! I am glad he prompted me to take photos of them as well. This year they have been so lovely and it will be nice to have the photos to remember them.

HaHA! Nope, not in this series. But yesterday I was back to taking photos of horses for a blog post on the weekend. Thanks for commenting with a good sense of humor.🤣

Oh I am so happy you decided to play along. Your irises and peony are so beautiful 😀 My favorite is the iris where your camera is point straight down on it. It is so unusual. Love it. Thanks ever so much for joining in on the fun. 😀

Thanks for this comment Cee. I really enjoyed taking the photos and the flowers will be gone soon so it is nice to have them in memory. Great fun to take part in this challenge. Thanks!

Thanks Diana. They are lovely and although I am not proficient at the whole macro thing I thought it was worth a try.
