Spring has sprung and the trees and flowers have come alive. Only a couple of weeks ago we still had cold miserable weather and the garden was hiding. Then the temperature went up and BOOM! Spring burst upon us. Our driveway is lined with ornamental pear trees and this year the blossoms have been spectacular.

I felt the blossoms deserved some close ups!

It was a sunny day with clear blue sky. I have noticed that the sky is entirely blue lately. No more white cloud trails of jet airplanes. Covid has reduced air travel to a very low level and so the skies are a clear blue.
Glorious. It’s lovely to see them from a distance as well as up close.

This is great, those trees are absolutely loaded with blossoms. We’ve snapped into summer weather here, too, I think we’ll go wading somewhere after work today.

It is crazy how fast summer arrived. May 11 I took a photo of snow covering the ground on our back garden. Today we have temps in the high 80s.

I just came in from cutting the grass, and the thermometer says 92! I think I will leave the trimming for the evening!

Today I looked at my photos on my phone and saw that on May 11 I had taken one of our back garden and it was covered in SNOW! That was only 15 days ago. And now we are in mid summer with temps of 30 Celsius and higher. But I like the heat so I’m not complaining.

What a change! We have had so much sunshine since Lockdown started, it’s not normal for Wales. Climate change.

Sunday night, it snowed in the mountains. We had rain, about an inch. But, it was cold, and I had to put another quilt on the bed. Tonight, it is expected to be cold again. The bright spot, we’ll be around 90 this coming weekend.
I have noticed the skies are a more vivid blue. And, the clouds are a more vivid gray.

Oh my goodness!! Spring has sprung literally! Those trees are amazing and so BEAUTIFUL!! Such pretty photos, I am glad you shared close ups too as we don’t have any trees like this near where I live! What a wonderful surprise after not long ago you had snow. Crazy weather! But glad it’s warming up for you there. ❤️🌸🌷

It is a treat especially as a few weeks ago there was snow on the ground and nary a sign of any blossoms!

I love those white blossoms. We had just a taste of 80s degree weather last week and now we have dreary 70s/ Spring is here but barely. Beautiful photography!

Spring is definitely blossoming beautifully!
Sky is blue, air is clean and rivers and mountains are sparkling… Can you believe that all this happened because of pandemic?
