What a stunning horse (and images)!
Beautiful photograph and good study in black for the challenge. I think these photographs would be worthy of a cover for the book, Black Beauty.
Thank you that is a great compliment.
😊
So beautiful
Glad you enjoyed them Susie!
Magnificent
Beautiful photos! My very first horse when I was 10 years old was a jet black registered Thoroughbred. He was small just barely 15 hands high but he was beautiful. I out grew him by the time I was 14 years old but he taught me a lot. I kept him until he became lame with stringhalt, and he had to be put down. I already had another bigger/taller show horse that I showed Hunters on years before he passed. This brought back memories!! I named my black horse Mirage, and his show name was Kona Koast (I spelt his name on purpose with a K for the first letters, Lol) for the black sands of Hawaii! ❤️🥰
How wonderful to have had a TB and to have kept him after you outgrew him. And your name for him is perfect! Thank you Diana for sharing this patt of your history with horses.
I have heard it said that one is always well dressed in black…your image prove it true.
Ah! That is wonderful. Thanks for this comment.
