This week the Photo Challenge is Viewpoint. When I came into the riding arena this morning it was cold and frosty. I looked at the windows at the end of the arena. Ah! The fairies had been painting while we were asleep.

Do you remember what it looked like only a few weeks ago?

Fall colors could still be seen through the window. But now…

Here is a closer look at some of the creations.

I also took the liberty of doing a bit of digital “painting” of my own adding some color to the fairies frost.

So this was my viewpoint this morning. My horse Biasini was skittish and it seems that his viewpoint was that the arena was full of phantoms! Phantoms or Fairies? It all depends on your viewpoint.
With or without the fairy paintings, your arena is stunning!

It is a wonderful arena and best of all it has fabulous footing for the horses

It really is stunning. Granted, from here where I am warm. At least compared to y’all…45 deg F had me chilly this morning!

Well I understand you live in a more moderate winter climate. But even for Canada the severe cold has been early. This week however it has moderated to just around the freezing mark.

Extraordinary creations… both fairy and digital, so lovely! As for Biasini’s point of view… skittishly cute too. π

Brrrrrr, very cold but beautiful photos! Those fairies do wonderful work. Love your artwork with the photos too! π I see why you will eventually head to Florida with the cold Winters there. π

Yes it is beautiful but I don’t like riding in the cold. I feel all stuffed up with clothing and my joints are stiff and tight for twice as long in the ride. Florida beckons!

I love the fairies’ paintwork Anne and I wonder whether they create different shadows that Biasini isn’t used to. Hope you are both keeping warm and a very happy Thanksgiving from all of us here π€πΎππΎ xxx

Beautiful! And the frost patterns are always so varied, I donβt think Iβve seen any like this before.

It is amazing to see them. I have not seen something like it before. It must be the size of the window panels and the amount of moisture in the arena. also the arena is not heated so that may contribute as well.

A fun viewpoint, Anne. I’m impressed you had time to contemplate the fairies while helping Biasini deal with the phantoms π

The key is in watching his ears. that is my early warning signal and I know something is about to happen. Glad you like the viewpoint and thanks for commenting.

Wow that frost in incredible. What amazing patterns. I get that on my attic window only very occasionally. It must be much, much colder where you are.

It is awful. And not normal this early in the winter.

I suppose it an example of the more extreme weather “events” we get these days.
