Braids. Bows. Short Stirrups.

This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is “A Face in the Crowd”. The thing I like about this photo is that you cannot see the faces but you can see the ribbons and braids on these little riders on their ponies. They have been competing at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington Florida.   These two young riders have finished their class and are walking their ponies back to the stabling area.

Lovely photo. Reminds me of when I was a child, taking my pony to the gymkhana. Sweet memories 💕

This makes me happy, and sad, as my autistic granddaughter in England rides the ponies, and I haven’t seen her in 7 years. I can’t travel because of my husband, and she couldn’t manage it here.
