let go and let god

Just as a matter of transparency I not consider myself to be religious person However, I do very much believe in the power of prayer. And I do think that there is in existence a Creative Deity. If you follow this blog, you will know that I have Parkinson’s disease And due to this, I have occasionally, well, along the time, actually some very powerful. what I would describe as cramping or. muscle muscle cramping. in my upper legs. As you know, I fractured my kneecap when I fell in London and I have now had two surgeries on this. So where is the let go and let God come in? Well, when I’m in bed at night, that is when I can spend an entire night with these muscle cramps, keeping me awake. So what do I do? Well, I say first of all, I say let go and I put a good emphasis on the go part. Go to stop them from happening. Now, if I find that if I’ve tried, I try to keep it as quick as I can, like one, 2 Two nights ago, these muscle spasms kept me awake for the entire night. So I had to have a nap in the afternoon and I did manage to sleep a bit in the nap. So thank goodness for naps! If I can describe to you what these muscle spasms feel like, it starts with my toes. My toes all flip up so they’re raised up to my head. And then I feel the the muscle spasm come up in the back of my calf. And then. I feel it take over my thigh. And this means that I feel like somebody has put a 7 or 8 inch band around my thigh, and they’re squeezing it so tightly, so, so, so, so, so tightly. It’s quite painful, actually, also had surgery on my right knee last Friday So Istill have that to recover from that as well. Sometimes, Sometimes my left knee gets into the muscle spasm thing as well, but it’s quite easy to deal with. It isn’t. nearly as difficult or as painful as the right knee I mean. It actually behaves in a pretty, easy sort of way. Not so much pain and not so much tightness. I actually worry sometimes that I think my right hip might dislocate, because my muscle spasms are so strong. Anyway.that is al That is all I have to say for today. And I think that’s enough, don’t you? Yeah,?OK

The picture of the horse above is an anime horse AI generated horse. I asked for him to be an anime, and I also asked for him to be walking. And he is all of those things. So that’s pretty good, I think.

    Leueen, have you tried magnesium for the cramps. I get terrible leg cramps unless I take 300 mg. magnesium daily. Magnesium citrate is the kind I take – it really works. Don’t know what I’d do without it. I’m 65 and riding. Hope this helps., Best, Helen
