For the umteenth time i have lost access to my Reader and the ability to Write posts. I can just write a Quick Draft on the Admin page. I hope to get this sorted soon. I miss the Reader as that is how I know what that bloggers I follow are writing . I hope to get his sorted out soon. The lovely Belgian horse in the featured photo has nothing to do with WordPress

I have been experiencing troubles accessing your posts for a while now. I have to go in a round about way to get there. I have reported it to WP a while ago. I don’t think they ever answered. They tried to help things the first few years when you had issues, now I find they do not respond when I report issues.

I have found that they don’t reply much to me either .And have been unable to write posts or read my reader. last night I thought I had them back but today they are gone again. 😒

I guess they think the 5 plus year people will just keep on keeping on regardless.

I am so sorry for your wordpress woes. I got really stressed when they change the format for writing posts. I love that horses plaited mane. I was wondering how long it took to do something like that.

I had a problem with the reader not long ago. Clearing the browser cache fixed the issue. It is very frustrating, as the Reader is where you connect with others. Hope it is soon resolved!

Well I was able to go to the WP admin page for my site and could get the Reader and write posts.

WP keep moving the way we access the reader and it’s not very helpful. At the moment I cannot access the reader via my phone either, until I open a blogger’s website on my browser, click the three dots at the bottom right corner, select ‘view site in reader’ and take it from there. Once I have one site open in the reader, I can click on the 3 horizontal bars in the top left corner and see my whole reader feed again. Wishing you luck, and WP will hopefully change the way we view the reader back to normal soon 🙏

Beautiful horse, Anne. I rarely use the Reader, but Jetpack glitches a lot. I can comment on a post one minute, then with the next blog, I’m told to log into WordPress.
It’s been suggested that some issues are related to outdated, unsupported themes. Are you self hosted?-

What’s strange is that I don’t get email notifications from your blog even though I’m subscribed. Yours and 4-5 other blogs are like that. I have WP “notify me of new posts” for yours and a few others.

I cannot understand w why you dont get notifications. I am paid up to March 2025, so they should send notifications if you ask for them

When I had no access to everything, the recommended course of action was to clear the cache memory. If that didn’t work, it was recommended to clear the DNS memory in your router, which is unplugging the router for 1 minute then plugging it back in – essentially rebooting the router. That didn’t work for me, so I deleted all the cookies. Deleting all the cookies worked.

I am sorry you are having Reader problems, Anne. It does hiccup from time to time and create problems.
