This week James of the jazzibee blog has given us the challenge of Looking up and Looking down. Here are my responses. Do click on the link to his blog as his photos are marvellous.

Yes, it looks like you had fun, Anne. I especially love the silhouette of Bodice and the horse, and now I want a plate full of macaroons. Great choices for Up and Down

Fun photos, Anne! Those statues are stunning. I makes me sick to think our gorgeous statue of Lee on Traveler was recently destroyed (actually melted 😢). I grew up in C’ville loving that magnificent piece of art and history. BTW, I liked your post on Traveler. I have a children’s book about that wonderful animal!

Shame about the statue being melted down. I don’t go for that. I think we need to remember the past and learn from it, not erase it.

        Absolutely, I agree.

Lovely images, Anne. The cranberries look delicious….and so do the macaroons. 🙂 Time for my breakfast!

An interesting assortment! I think it would be interesting if Boadicea & Daughters had been tossing out macarons instead of chucking spears, the Romans might’ve surrendered for really good cookies.

Ha ha! I think you’ve got something there

How nice to see you name pop up for the challenge Anne! Loved your choices, especially those luscious cranberries. I’m not a big fan of macaroons but your image of them made me think I should reconsider! Also loved the Bodice statue images, both versions.

I do like macaroons and those certainly tempted me. I had to go into the bakery and buy a few to eat.

Colorful beauty, Anne! Now I have to go take pictures of the cranberries I just bought for the sauce on Thursday.
