The color of the month is YELLOW!

For the month of August Terri of Second Wind Leisure has given us the color yellow! As it happens I have some yellow in the garden. Here is a photo of our front garden that faces the street. Yellow Rudbeckia (blackeyed Susans) and in between them some pink echinacea.

Beneath the Linden tree we have a “wild garden.” Two years ago we put in some wildflower seeds.Last year not much came up but this year we have a bounty of sunflowers. Not the big seed bearing sunflowers. These are a smaller variety of the sunflower species.

Beautiful garden, Anne! Your wild sunflowers are like a ray of sunshine they grow all over the place here.
