Hello again Dear Humans. This past week has been a real “what next ” week for me. I saw Ma Leueen today for the first time in lots of days. She had a band age on her forehead and another smaller one on her nose. Now she told me why she had these but I already knew because I had heard the other Humans talking about what had happened. I heard them say that Ma Leueen had a fall in the nighttime and had banged her head and had to go to the hospittle. They also said she was lucky that she didn’t break her skull or her nose and that she had black eyes. Well, lots of us horses have black eyes, and we think they look just fine. But the humans not so much. It seems that the black eyes are caused but brewsing. I know that’s not the right spelling but you knew what I meant and that’s what matters. Today Ma Leueen did not have black eyes but her face did look a bit yellow in places . She said that the brewsing is healing up now.
So this week Trainer Lynsey has ridden me and that’s good. She rode me for a longer time and afterwards she put on ice boots. That is just like the old days before I got my injury. And BTW the vet said my injury was healing up well but I still can only walk for a few more weeks.
So since I am walking for longer I look forward to getting a treat from Barn Manager Carl. He usually comes , in the evening,when I am finishing up my hay. He puts on my night time leg boots and then I usually get a treat.
So I look up and ask him: “Where’s my treat Carl??”
