Biasini and I are rehabbing together at the walk. You might think that there is not much that can be done while just sitting on a horse who is walking. Well , let me tell you there is plenty for me to be focusing on and doing. Here is a short video of my “walking ” lesson with Lysney Rowan who has been riding Biasini for most of the last year while have been off with my hip issues.
As you can hear I am not allowed to just be sitting up there. Lynsey knows Biasini well and she knows his usual response is to pull his head down and pull me forward with it. But that is not acceptable. And in working with him like this it keeps him in a better frame and that maintains his abdominal muscles and neck muscles. Here is another short video.
So there you have it. I am getting back using my brain as well as my body. I am also really enjoying being back on Biasini and having some lessons.
