This week Tina of Travels and Trifles has given us the challenge of Spiritual Sites.For me these are not churches or places of worship. For me they are on the back of my horse on a trail in the forest. There is quiet and only the sound of some birds singing . My cares slip off my shoulders and it is here that I feel the nearest to my maker. I am not now nor have I ever been a religious person or a ‘church’ person.So spirituality will be found elsewhere for me.

You may recogize the photo above as one of my favorite trails. It is the “goat” trail. I have learned that these trails are what keeps me sane and this is where I understand my own spirituality.

Once I get the all clear from my surgeon I will be back on these trails again. I hope it will only be a couple of weeks now.
