Today Lynsey Rowan rode my horse Biasini in the Prix St.George at the Global Dressage Festival. They executed a lovely mistake free test and it was a joy to watch. But the thing that meant the most to me was that Lynsey told me that when she came out of the ring she said to her coach,Belinda Trussell: “I had fun!”
Believe me when I say that not all rides even the ones that win the class are described as “fun”. To me the fact that Lynsey felt like this about her ride on Biasini. That it was fun. This was the best thing!
They got an excellent score of 70.441%.They came in second place with the winner of the large class scoring 71.617% I could not be more proud of my horse and his rider. This is the first time Biasini has been in the show ring for three years. What a super start to the show season. Here are a few photos.

They executed a nice shoulder in with no fussing or resistance whatsoever from Biasini.

The sequences of four tempi changes (flying change every fourth stride and threes every third stride were perfectly executed.)

And at the end a nice halt.

For those of you who are interested here is a video taken by my husband of the entire test. You can hear the announcers voice and also the music playing the music is coming over loudspeakers and helps the horses so they are not distracted by loud noises or helicopters overhead etc. However this music is copyrighted and You Tube tells me there are countries that will not be able to view it. At the end you will see my friend Nancy who was standing beside my husband. She enjoyed the test too!
I’d love to hear from you!
