Ever year I read this book leading up to Christmas

I am reposting this as every year   leading up to Christmas I read this book.  It is a wonderful reminder of how someone can turn their life around and how a person may rescue a Cat but that Cat can also rescue the person.

There are two films that I always watch at Christmas time: “A Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Carol” (the version with Alistair Sim as Scrooge, no other one will do!).  I’m sure many of you are familiar with both of these stories.  This year I am adding a new tradition of reading a book as well as watching  the two films. The book is “A Gift From Bob” by James Bowen.

      It should be. It is a wonderful book. And if you have not read the original Street Cat Named Bob I give that a 5* recommendation. Do read that one first. I am certain it will come as an audio book.

    I read the first of the “Bob the Street Cat” books and decided that Bob was a gift from God. I have my own ginger and white cat, Artie, who had lived on the streets of Ardara before he lived with us. He’s the gentliest, sweetest cat ever.

    My family and I’ve watched A Wonderful Life a few times over the years (I don’t think I’ve seen that version of A Christmas Carol though). White Christmas is our ultimate holiday movie favorite; have you seen it too?

      Yes i have and it is a very good film too. What i like about the other two films is both of them are stories about someone getting a second chance.
