I have had a good week this past week. I have been ridden twice by Coach Belinda and, as you know, I work hard for her. Then one day Ma Leueen took me for a walk in the forest. That is something I always enjoy.
Assistant Trainer Lynsey also took me to the forest on the last day of the week. That was a real blast, as you Humans say, as we had her dog Murphy with us. He is not like Ma Leueen’s little dog. Murphy is big and I mean BIG! But he listens to Lynsey and always does what she tells him. One time he came running right up beside me. That took me by surprise! So I had a little scoot and a tiny little buck with my hind end. Lysney always does some trot and canter work in the forest. And she also lets me have a bit of a gallop! That’s really fun for me. I also heard that she put a video of me and Murphy in the forest trotting along on the Book of Faces. She said I was worth a million dollars as she was able to trot along after Murphy, holding the reins in one hand, and I behaved perfectly. Well why wouldn’t I? She said that the day before she had ridden me in what you call the Inter 1 dressage test and next day she takes me into the forest. That’s why I was worth a lot of money. Hmmm…. I don’t really know why that makes me so valuable but I am happy to do dressage and forest trail rides and behave well in both. Just between you and me , Dear Humans , it is not so hard for me.
So that was my week. Pretty good don’t you think? I hope you have had good weeks and will enjoy the days off in your week ends. I know I will.
