Today I had the opportunity to watch the Under 25 Grand Prix Freestyles of the Nations Cup competition at the Global Dressage Festival. There were two Canadians in this class and I was eager to see them . The first Canadian was Camille Carier Bergeron riding Sound of Silence.

The next Canadian rider was Vanessa Creech-Terauds. Before she started her test Vanessa gave her mare, Fleurs de Lis, a pat of reassurance.

Camille and Sound of Silence had an excellent score of 72.23% for First Place! Close behind her was Benjamin Ebeling riding for the USA with 72.05% for second place. Vanessa was just out of the top three with 70.03%
Here are some photos of the Awards presentations.

This weekend I have been lucky enough to see some of the top Canadian dressage riders and seeing these two talented young women do so well, in the Grand Prix freestyles, I feel certain that the next generation is very well represented.🍁
I’d love to hear from you!
