F.O.T.D. White Clematis

You may remember, at the start of the summer, I posted a purple clematis for Cee’s FOTD challenge. I have another clematis that grows on the same wall and it is in bloom now! I have to admire how profuse the blossoms are and all summer long I have to keep trimming it or it would be growing up over the roof! The blossoms may be small but ….oh my….they are so lovely.

As many of you will know Cee Neuner has had to evacuate with her husband ,from their home in Oregon, to escape the wildfires that are devastating the area. This week she showed some dahlias with raindrops in the hopes that some rain will come soon to dampen these fires. Click on this link to see her posts. I think we all wish her and her husband the best and a safe return to their home.

Such delicate flowers. The bush just wants to show you it wants to grow before winter steps in.

This morning we have Temps just above freezing and the trees are all turning to their bright oranges, yellows and reds. Autumn is here. Enjoy your spring!

Thank you Diana! I think this clematis is making a big display so as not to be outdone by the flashier spring blooming purple clematis. 😆
