Sanctuary….

Xenia at Tranature has given us the Lens-Artists Challenge #108. Sanctuary If you are familiar with my blog you will not be surprised at where I find sanctuary.

I also find sanctuary in the arena. Here the outside world is left at the door and I am completely focused on my horse and the task at hand…riding!

The trails are a peaceful place for my horse and me. I follow the sound of his heartbeat and we travel together. It is sanctuary for both of us.

Hi Anne,

Beautiful photos ❤ Horses are amazing animals – my grandpa had horses and I spent most of my summer holidays' at my grandparents' house so seeing horses always brings back my childhood memories. I am planning to go horse riding sometime in the near future but as I am living in the center of a big city, it's pretty difficult to find a nice place (I want one like the trails in your photo! )
