Summer! Lens-Artists Challenge #104

Amy has given us the Lens-Artists challenge of Summer this week. Here is my take on it.

Summer is warm weather and this summer we are having an extended heat wave. With heat and humidity comes the threat of thunderstorms. The other evening there was one forecast and at sunset I looked out to the back garden. This is what I saw. I got my phone and snapped a shot.

We’re having much the same Anne. Hot humid days followed by thunderstorms in the evening. The light has been amazing. Good for you for capturing it! Your image is beautiful.

Thank you Tina. We are now in sustained heat and no rain in sight. But I’m not going to complain about heat 😎

  6. The sky looks magically colorful. It is hard to see clouds here in summer.

When we get heat and humidity we get thunderstorms. This is when the sky puts on a real show. First when the big clouds roll in and then when the heavens open and we have torrential rain and lightening flashes and thunder to folllow.
