This week’s WordPress photo challenge is “Out of this World” . Things we see everyday that when looked at in a different way can seem “out of this world.”
When I go to horse shows, that I am not competing in myself, I am behind the lens taking photos for the blog. Last Friday evening , at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, my friend and fellow photographer Carmen Elisa Franco, was behind her lens and snapped a photo of me behind my lens.
I don’t usually see myself on the ‘outside’ and ‘behind’ the lens. So this was ‘out of my world’.
Thanks for this fun photo Carmen.

Very nice “Out of this World” idea and post, quite playful, I love the photo. Lovely to read horseaddict posts again, so true, very many everyday things do seem otherworldly when looked at with fresh eyes. Or… through fresh lens. 🙂

Thanks! But don’t be fooled by the long lens. I’m just an amateur. Horses can be quite far away in competitions so I got a longer lens last year. I have also taken an online photography course on horse photography. Moving subjects are a challenge but it’s so much fun!
