This chippie’s cheeks are as full as they can be. Perhaps he is stocking up for winter hibernation. Chipmunks take nuts and seeds back to their undeground lairs to have when they are hiberating in winter.

Squirrels and chipmunks prepare a lot for winter. They are more vulnerable to predators when leaves are off the trees.
The squirrels are around in the snow but the chipmunks go underground until spring. They have stashes of seeds and nuts underground too.
Our squirrels stash a lot. They also raid the bird feeders a bit too much. I think they hide a lot in their tree holes so they don’t have to come out if they don’t need to. They also bury some of the acorns.
Cuteness! 😁
😀😊
Looks quite grumpy at being interrupted 😂
Maybe he is. ButI wasnt interrupting him as I took the photo from inside the kitchen window. if I went outside he would had scooted off as soon as I appeared.
Animals and birds do that here as well 🙂
Chipmunks are soooo fast too. They are so much faster than squirrels.
Love these little cuties
We could probably learn from the chipmunks.
I love it when the little guys look back to the camera .
