Well Dear Humans I am back home. I had a long trip on the big horse transport to get here but I had a good travelling companion. Her name is Heidi and we chatted away a lot. She told me she had an injury too. But hers is worse than mine because she broke a bone in her foot. She thinks she probably did it kicking on the wall. And for her this was a Very Big Deal. Her rider is a professional and she was going to go to the Pan American Games in the autumn. So it was really bad that Heidi got this injury. Her rider was very upset about it and I can understand that. But she spent lots of time with Heidi and that was nice. I told Heidi that I had an injury too but just an tendon not a bone. I told her I had to cancel from one show but had done other shows and done pretty well. She told me she had been all ready for competing and had been looking forward to showing everyone how good she could be. She was going to do the Grand Prix. I told her I was impressed with that! She said her rider would spend time with her and sometimes they would look at videos of famous horses doing dressage. That sounded like fun. Any way it was nice to have someone to talk with on the long trip. Here is a video of me loading onto the big transport. Ma Leueen ways this is how all horses should load. Just walk calmly on.
So now I’m home. Heidi does not live at my barn she lives somewhere else at her rider’s barn. I shall ask Ma Leueen to keep me updated as to how she recovers from her injury.
I am having a good time. I get turned out every day and I have a hay bag in my paddock. I think they give me something in my breakfast that keeps be calm because I feel pretty chilled when I go out. I get it. They don’t want me to start kicking up my heels and making my injury worse. In the evening Barn Manager Carl puts on my Back on Track quick wrap boots and then he takes me out for a walk and after we walk around he lets me eat some grass. He’s a good guy Carl is. Here I am munching some grass.

So that’s my life at the moment. We have had nice warm weather since I got back. I told all the other horses that I brought the warm weather with me from Florida.HaHa! But Ma Leueen tells me that this is coming to an end and next week it will be cold and I will need a blanket on to go outside. Hmm…. well I will let you know how that goes.
Till next time Dear Humans.

I’d love to hear from you!
