Well Dear Humans I think you may already know about my new life. Ma Leueen tells me she has already told all of you that I have an injury. She says it is a Sus-Pen-Sury injury. And it means I get a holiday! Not that I really wanted one but I am not allowed to do anthing other than walk. Some days Ma Leueen’s other half Dave comes and walks me, on the driveway, around the barn. We go round and round and then he turns me and we go round the other way. Then one day Lynsey rode me but she just walked me around the property. Then yesterday and today Meg Ann got on and walked me too. Then today Meg Ann gave me a bath. WOW! she lathered me up with soap and gave me a good scrub up. Especially my white lower leg. She really gave that a scrub and then she said she needed some of ” that purple shampoo” . Then grooms person Jen Ette produced some and Meg Ann scrubbed my leg with that.
At last she was satisfied with how white and clean it was. Then she rinsed off the soap.
Then she gave me an all over spray.
I think I am now the cleanest horse in the barn. And it was what you Humans call a “Spa Day”. I enjoyed it and best of all Ma Leueen took me out for grass after so could dry off.
Don’t get me wrong. I like to work and I am sorry to have missed having Lynsey ride me in the last show. But let’s face it. I am having a pretty good life. Don’t you think?
