Well Dear Humans I am in sunny, warm Florida. It was a long trip of course to get here. We left early and I knew exactly where we were going as I had heard the Humans talking about it. So once I heard the rumble of the big engine of the transport I knew we would soon be off. I have done this trip often so I know it is long but …what the heck …as you Humans say.. it’s well worth it. Here is a short video that Roo’s Human Meg Ann took of the transport as it drove away from the barn.
Well it was pretty warm once we got to the Florida barn. I had grown in a lot of winter coat and when Super Groom Lexi saw me she said she was going to give me a full clip As Soon As Possible.
Ma Leueen was there to meet me and she gave me a bath so I’d be clean for SG Lexi. Then she walked me outside and I could eat some grass and dry off from my bath in the sunshine! Bliss!
Before I knew it SG Lexi had me into the cross ties and was clipping me. The more hair she took off the better I felt. I just had a rest while she clipped. When she was finished she sprayed me with something called Vin Eager.I did NOT like the smell so I flipped up my upper lip. You can see this in the photo. And you can also see how much fur I have had removed.Whew!

I have not had to do any work yet. But Ma Leueen told me that soon Trainer Lynsey will be putting me to work.
Oh I should also tell you about my new fly sheet for turnout. It has black and white stripes. Ma Leueen says they are like the stripes on a Zeebra. That is an equid that lives in Africa. Ma Leueen said the stripes keep flies away. Yesterday I was bothered by flies but today with my Zeebra stripes it was not so bad. Ma Leueen has put in a photo of zeebra fur for you to see.

Well, that’s all for now Dear Human. I will be speaking again soon as Ma Leueen tells me there are plans for me to go to some shows with Trainer Lynsey. But she said that I have to do some work with Trainer Lynsey before that happens and that one day I will go with a couple of other horses to the showgrounds to be ridden there so we can all get used to it. So, till next time Dear Humans.
I’d love to hear from you!
