My Friend has gone.

I know that many of you read my post “Seize This Day” about my lifelong friend and our love of horses. I just heard this evening that she passed last night ( Friday December 9) in her sleep. I am so grateful that she passed peacefully. That is what I had prayed for.I would like to thank all of you who left wonderful comments on my post and also many prayed for her as well. Thank you.

The photo below is how I will remember her . Smiling and holding her winning ribbons next to her wonderful mare Hylight who she loved so much!

My friend is survived by two daughters, three sons and a number of Grandchildren.When I last spoke with her she had her family around her bed and they were decorating the Christmas tree that was at her bedside. Despite her diagnosis she was in remarkably good spirits and that is how I shall remember her.

Live in the moment and be present in all you do. Don’t worry yourself with what happened yesterday or what’s going to happen tomorrow.Stay focused with what’s in front of you.
