Today I had the chance to take Biasini out for a forest trail ride. I decided to go on the Goat trail. If you follow this blog you will know that for Biasini and me this trail is our favorite. You will also know that there are no goats on this trail. We call it the goat trail as it is narrow and the hillside is up on one side and down on the other.
This was my first time in two months to get out on this trail. It has taken a long time for me to recover from my hip fracture and only a week ago I started back riding. It was a lovely day today with perfect temperature and lots of breeze. Here is a short video of us going along the trail. You will hear the wind in the trees and the bird you will hear is a Blue Jay.
After the narrow goat trail the trail widens out and I always love to see this vista .
This wider trail goes up a hill and then we turn and head back to the barn. This forest trail walk took us 35 minutes and every one of them was a delight.
