Biasini Speaks About the Goat Trail.

Hello Dear Humans. I hope you are all well and happy. I am very well and very happy. I’m so glad Ma Leueen is back. When she comes out to my paddock she calls out my special nickname ‘Beebles’. I always look up and walk over to the paddock gate to welcome her. Of course she has carrots, cut up just the way I like them, but that is not the only reason I’m happy to see her.

The humans come to the barn at special times now because of the Vye Rus. Ma Leueen comes just before lunch time hay is served in the paddock. But that is ok because Barn Manager Carl gives me some extra in my stall. Did I tell you last time that now Ma Leueen does all my brushing and hoof cleaning and tail combing in my stall. I love it! I can be eating my hay the whole time. Then she puts on my leg wraps if it is a day we are working with Coach Belinda or just a couple of small boots round my front hooves if we are going out to the forest.

So we have been out to my favourite trail a couple of times. The Goat Trail! It is a bit shady when you first start on it.

Then it gets lighter and you can see why it is called the Goat Trail. It’s because it is up on one side and down on the other. So the humans say it is the kind of trail that goats like. It is narrow but its no problem for me.

Then later on the trail opens up and we can have a trot along this part.

Everything is so green now. We horses can see green you know. This time of year it is green and there are very few bugs. Later it is a different green and there are a lot of pesky bugs that bite! Then later, when the weather is not as warm, the green is gone and the leaves start to come off the trees and there are no bugs. But now it is nice and green.

Before I go here is a very short video of us on the Goat Trail.

I hope you enjoyed our little trek along the Goat Trail as much as I did. All the Humans are telling each other to Stay Safe so I guess I should do that too. So Stay Safe Dear Humans!

Hello Biasini, while reading your post I got a doubt can you kindly tell me whether horses can go for ride immediately after eating your food. As generally humans feels to have a little rest after heavy food like lunch.

This is a good question Subbashini. After eating hay we can go to do any kind of work. We horses would be eating grasses all the time and walking about in the wild. But now that we live with humans we have set times for our meals. So the long and short of it is after eating hay we can work and after eating our grain meals we need an hour of digesting before work.🐴
