Hello from Florida Dear Humans! I am delighted to be here. First of all I must tell you about my trip down. I got into the trailer very early, it was still dark outside. I step into the stall and what do I see? The Gobs! All of them settled into a corner. Do you remember when I spoke about the Gobs before. Humans call them Gob Lins. So there they were. ‘What are you doing here?” I asked. “We’ve had enough of this cold weather and the snow so we want to go somewhere warmer.” The Gob leader answered. Well I was nervous that Ma Leueen or the trailer driver might see them so I turned around in the stall so I would block their view. I don’t think Humans see the Gobs but you can never be too careful.
We had a short ride in the smaller trailer and then transferred to a big trailer with other horses . I had the Gobs hidden up under my blanket so they wouldn’t get left behind. They introduced themselves to the other horses and we had a blast on the trip down. The Gobs had all of us laughing and having a good time telling us hilarious Gob stories.
I was so happy to arrive at the barn in Florida. Coach Lou greeted me and took me to my stall. It was nice to see Coach Lou again. He’s a pretty nice guy. Warm weather, no need for blankets, and that delicious hay that I love. My only request would be to have more of the hay. But Coach Lou seems to think that what I’m getting is enough. Humph!

I had a good night and in the morning I was taken out to the big paddock with a buddy. His name is Eli. He’s a cool guy and we’ll get along just fine. Here is a video that Coach Lou took of me in the paddock. I was testing out the ground before I had a roll and he told me to stop pawing and making holes. I just turned my back on him and went the other side of Eli for my roll. It felt sooooo good! No blanket on, I rolled back and forth. It has been months since I’ve been able to do that.
And look at that green grass! It’s been months since I’ve seen grass. At home we’ve had snow and ice for ever . Look at these photos Coach Lou took. I hope the horses at home don’t see these. They’ll be angry they’re not here.

So I am very happy. Very happy indeed. I know that Ma Leueen will be here soon and I will be glad to see her. In the meantime, I am enjoying myself immensely. And the Gobs? They have settled nicely into a palm tree. Till next time Dear Humans!
I’d love to hear from you!
