Monday Minstrel:Showing off!

I photographed these two horse figures in the home of former British Prime Mnister, the late Edward Heath. He had collected these pieces in China. The one in the foreground is a replica of a very famous bronze statue dating from the Eastern Han Dynasty ( AD 25-220) that was found in 1969 in the excavation of a tomb at Wuwei county.

I have always felt that looking at these two statues the one in the background is saying:” Can you just stop showing off!!”

Thanks for the laugh! Wonder if I’ve had that “look” when I have felt the same way once or twice in my life. 😀
