Biasini Speaks-About Small Humans

Hello again Dear Humans! Ma Leueen tells me she has reported about the show we were at last weekend so I won’t say more about that.  However there are a couple of things Ma Leueen did not tell you about. She didn’t tell you about the times in the evening and the early morning when she is not there. She makes arrangements for me to be looked after during those times and  I am grateful for that as otherwise I would be hungry and bored.

In  the evening my friend Barn Manager Carl would come and give me a walk outside and a chance to eat some grass.

Then he would put  on my pyjamas, top up my water buckets and best of all, give me flakes of hay to see me through the night.

Then in the early morning Ma Leueen’s friend Sue would come and feed me my breakfast! Delicious! Then she would give me fresh water, and take me out for a walk. I tried to convince her that I didn’t need to walk anywhere I just needed to eat some of the delicious fresh green grass. We’ve had rain lately and the grass is of a very superior quality! However Friend Sue said I had to walk and have grass later. Sometimes you just have to go along with these humans…..you know what I mean!

On the second day of the show Ma Leueen’s small humans came to see us.  Ma Leueen has two offspring, one is a colt and he’s a grown up human now. Ma Leueen also has a mare called Breanne who has a little colt of her own.   He has two other ‘sister fillies’ who do not have the same dam or sire as him. The humans call this a “blended” family. So they all came with the other Grand Humans who are the dam and sire of Breanne Human’s husband. Good grief…it’s not easy  to describe the blood lines of humans. Anyway…they all came. The little colt is so full of energy, darting about all over the place. I told all the other horses on our aisle to look out and be careful. They all said they would. We horses always try to be careful around little humans.  But that little nipper…one time I thought he was going to run right under my belly. But my friend Sugar Man David (he is Ma Leueen’s husband and always gives me sugar) he said very loudly: “Stop! Don’t you go under there!”  The little nipper colt stopped and ran off in another direction!

One of the little fillies was very keen to pat me on the nose. As you may know I don’t really like being fussed over and patted to much. But this little filly was so nice about it. So I stood as still as possible and let her pat me. I mean, who knows, maybe she will learn to ride we horses someday and I will be the one who gave her a good experience of being around a horse for the first time. Here is a photo of us. Ma Leueen tells me she has already put this photo in her blob post but I told her I wanted it in again in my blob post. So here we are.

And just a quick word about blood lines……I am a half brother to Bella Rose, the mare that a famous German rider is taking to the World Equestrian Games!  I am very proud of her! Till next time Dear Humans.

I had no idea that horses wore “pyjamas”!

We horses do have pyjamas but humans call them “stable sheets “. Thank you for your comment Emma Human.

Nice of you to be so considerate of the little ones, Biasini.
And your pajamas are quite stylish, by the way! I didn’t know they came in horse sizes.

Thank you Sandy Human. And yes we do have pyjamas but they are styled differently from human pyjamas of course.
