The Monday Minstrel-“By Order” in London

This sign is on the wall of an alleyway in London’s Chelsea. The passage leads from Cheyne Walk to the rear of the big houses where the horses and carriages would have been kept.

You can see the sign  up on the wall on the left. Horses and carriages were still the most used form of transport in London in the early 1900’s.
