Biasini Speaks: I’m a Jumper!

Hello Dear Humans. Don’t worry I have not given up my career as a dressage horse. I know I am good at that so I won’t give it up. But I had a lot of fun last week jumping. I knew I was going to jump when Coach Belinda’s offspring Sophie came to ride me. She is a tall human and looks pretty grown up to me but she is what you Humans call a teen ager . When we went into the arena she had set up a little jump. Just a small one! She warmed me up with some trot and canter and then headed me toward the jump. In this photo Sophie is looking at the jump and turning me toward it. I canter up and easily jump over it.

You can see how well I am jumping this little jump. So I really enjoyed this. The next day Lynsey Rowan rode me and we did dressage. And that was fine too. I can do all these things.

Till Next time Dear Humans.

Such a handsome boy. Sophie has lovely form, especially for being in a dressage saddle!

WEll spotted Julie. That is my dressage saddle and it fits Biasini well so we used it. When Sophie is riidng her jumper and when she is competing she has a jumper saddle.

We’re always on the outlook for new jumpers. Also, Coach Belinda’s Sophie being tall probably would make for a good showjumper. But, then again, Elizabeth and Tara are 5-4, 5-5 but they do know how to handle a tall horse. I’m 18-2 hands tall. I believe Cameron is 17-3 hands. Deborah is 5-8 and her Comet is 18-0 hands.

    Keep on jumping,
    Lilith

Thank you Lilith Human. Sophie is taller than her Mother. Belinda is a smaller Humam.Ma Leueen says she is just over 5 ft. M a Leueen tells me you jump.those really big jumps..That’s so exciting.. but I’m.happy to stay with smaller jumps.

Nice of you to think I’m a human, but really I’m a horse. But, that’s okay. I’ve been called Elizabeth, Lizzie and Beth. That happens when you have long relationship with your human.

Your learning process about jumps and the process is very much like how our dogs are faith in obedience trials..that is, start small and work your way up. Woof..from Wyatt and Jonah.
